Faberge is offering a limited edition Twin Flower egg: the Arctic Flower

1Russian jeweler Faberge has just released a new Easter egg, the “Twin Flower,” which conceals a budding “twinflower” inside a gold-carved enameled eggshell adorned with a totem of vibrant vines, a blessing of new life.

The egg is made from a gold shell, which is carved with plant vines and nascent leaves representing the birth of life, and then burned with green enamel covering the entire egg. The button of egg opening and closing is inlaid with a Zambian emerald. The egg base is carved by green jade, highlighting the theme of green color. The overall height of the egg and the base is only 6.5cm, and the egg itself is exactly the same size as the egg.

Opening the egg gently reveals a hidden surprise: a hand-carved “Arctic Flower” is budding. The plant grows in cold, high altitudes and has elegant pairs of buds, so it is called a “Twin Flower”, which is especially fitting for Easter.
