To celebrate the coronation of Charles III, the king of England, on May 6, De Beers launched a unique diamond headdress, “Metamorphosis by De Beers”, which uses titanium and platinum to create a minimalist modern design style with diamonds with a total weight of more than 40ct.

This headwear piece is composed of four circular ring structures, inspired by the four states of water – the top slender circular ring is designed with the theme of “Diamond dust”, and small diamonds are embedded in electroplated blue titanium metal, resembling tiny ice crystals floating in the air.

The second ring is made of platinum and is embedded with 7 different cut and size diamond main stones – in the center is an 8.49ct water droplet shaped main diamond, with symmetrical water droplet shaped diamonds, emerald shaped cut diamonds, and square cut diamonds hanging on both sides, inspired by the extremely cold glaciers.

The third ring is made of electroplated light blue titanium metal, embedded with irregularly arranged round diamonds, inspired by water droplets after ice melting; The bottom layer of the ring is made of electroplated brown titanium metal, with undulating wavy textures on the surface. The cluster pattern of diamond stones is like the distribution of underground water sources, paying tribute to the natural power that nurtures diamonds deep in the Earth.
