Jewelry of the Year 2021

  The results of the Jewelry 2021 awards are officially out, and we’ve selected 22 of the most iconic jewelry pieces of the past year. The inspiration theme of this year’s global jewelry shows the vast time and space thinking of designers. You can see different themes such as natural treasures, vast starry sky, poetic mythology and even virtual world. The breakthrough application of innovative materials is also more bold, holographic ceramics, electroplated titanium metal, etc., gives designers a broader imagination space.

 There are six categories on this year’s list, which covers five items including rings, necklaces, brooches, bracelets and earrings, as well as creative designs. Check out the full list of Jewelry Awards 2021 below:

The best ring creations of 2021 combine creative themes, gems and craftsmanship — Boucheron Illusion Cocktail rings use Opal’s natural colors to create ever-changing light and shadow effects, like an infinite mystery. Chopard Water pairs blue titanium with three-dimensional diamond inserts to create a sculptural effect. Cartier Clash [Un]limited used natural gems to create a punk style “rivet” element, the style is avant-garde and spontaneous.

The main stone is a 50.95ct water drop curved cut white Opal from Ethiopia with blue, yellow and pink sapphires, saffron stone, orange and green garnet, emerald, blue tourmaline and diamond.

“Rome”, the birthplace of BVLGARI, became the Muse of Celestial Sky necklace — the main stone is a sapphire cut in the shape of a pillow, with deep and mysterious colors symbolizing the Roman blue sky; The necklace uses sapphire, red tourmaline beads and diamonds to outline the circular decorative patterns, reproducing the typical decorative style of the Roman Baroque period, as well as the sky under the setting sun presents a distinct gradient effect, the whole necklace took about 1,800 hours to complete.
