Liberty Bell Rubies are said to be carved from the largest raw uncut rubies in the world. Discovered in East Africa in 1950, this gem weighs about 4 pounds and is carved into a small liberty bell. Surrounded by white diamonds and embellished with an eagle.
Unfortunately, in 2011 a ruby stored in a jewelry store in Wilmington, Delaware, was stolen by four thieves. And the police awarded $10,000 for information related to the piece. Four thieves are later arrested, but the Liberty Bell Ruby remains missing.
